Nathan J. Aman

Nathan J. Aman is a partner with Fahrendorf, Viloria, Oliphant & Oster L.L.P. Mr. Aman practices mainly in the areas of commercial litigation where he represents engineers, architects, developers and subcontractors in construction related litigation. He has extensive experience in corporate formation and business operation issues, business litigation, state and federal securities law issues, commercial and residential real estate issues, and real estate development.

Mr. Aman serves as panel counsel for a large number of insurance companies and defends design professionals, developers and subcontractors in complex construction defect litigation in Northern and Southern Nevada.  Mr. Aman is active in the Construction Section of the Nevada Bar and is the President of the Association of Defense Counsel for Northern Nevada for 2010.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Aman was an attorney for a law firm in Las Vegas and currently represents clients in both Northern Nevada and Southern Nevada.

While attending Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, California, Mr. Aman gained valuable experience as an extern for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and the California Department of Corporations. In addition, Mr. Aman was a summer associate at a prominent law firm in Beverly Hills, where he worked primarily on securities law and commodities law issues.

Mr. Aman was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota and is a member of the state bars of Nevada and South Dakota. He graduated from Arizona State University's Barrett Honors College, magna cum laude in 1999 with degrees in History and Political Science. As an undergraduate, Mr. Aman was on the Dean's list all four years at ASU, was selected as a Political Science Junior Fellow and wrote his honors thesis in history on civil rights. At Pepperdine Law, Mr. Aman was a member of the International Moot Court team and graduated with a certificate in Entrepreneurial and Technology Law in 2002.
