Reno, NV (August 24, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the city of Reno. The collision was reported to the Reno Fire Department and police at around 4:20 p.m. on August 23.
Preliminary investigations show that the northbound side of Interstate 395 N. was blocked as a result of an automobile accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately shut down the roadway near the eastbound entrance to Interstate 80. Emergency crews remained at the scene for an extended period while working to remove the involved vehicles. Paramedics were summoned to the crash site to care for victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
