Sunrise Manor, NV (July 31, 2024) – A driver suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision in the Sunrise Manor neighborhood of Las Vegas on Sunday, July 28. The crash occurred at the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Winterwood Boulevard late that night, around 7:37 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 66-year-old woman driving a 2019 Chevrolet Trax was traveling south on Nellis when she tried to make a left turn onto Winterwood.
A northbound 2015 Honda Accord crashed into the right side of the Chevy. The impact caused both vehicles to spin out and hit a nearby block wall. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene, and all occupants were transported to Sunrise Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The driver of the Honda sustained moderate injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
