Pedestrian Accidents in Nevada

There is a strong chance of injury when a car strikes a pedestrian. In Nevada as well as throughout the United States, pedestrian accidents are still a major concern. Based on data from the National Safety Council (NSC), most pedestrian fatalities occur in urban settings, and about 85.7 percent of pedestrian crashes take place on city roads. Pedestrians are more likely to suffer fatal injuries in the event of a crash.

If you or a loved one is hurt while crossing the street, it is likely that there will be serious injuries. A pedestrian is not shielded from the entire force of a collision, and the ensuing injuries are often fairly serious. It is well known that serious and even fatal injuries from pedestrian accidents lead to enormous medical bills and other losses that you might not be prepared to pay for on your own.
