Las Vegas, NV - Two Killed in Pileup Collision at Nellis & Charleston Blvd

Las Vegas, NV (December 25, 2023) - On Sunday, December 24, two people were killed and several others were hurt after a multi-vehicle crash in Las Vegas. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Nellis Boulevard and Charleston Boulevard at around 1:30 p.m. Local sources indicated that the driver of a Mazda 3 swerved in order to avoid a jaywalker when they hit three vehicles.

The driver of the Mazda ran a red light and entered eastbound traffic before hitting the vehicles. The driver, a 40-year-old man, and a 65-year-old female passenger suffered fatal injuries. Five other people in the other vehicles were transported to UMC for treatment. No additional information on the fatal crash is in progress. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
