Distracted Driving Crashes in Nevada

Nearly nine people in the United States lose their lives to distracted driving every day, and human error is to blame for about 90 percent of documented auto accidents. Data show that distracted driving is quickly overtaking other factors as the leading cause of car accidents in the nation, and there is a good reason why. Over 3,000 fatal crashes involving distracted drivers occur each year, and in the time it takes to send a text, you could go the length of a football field when traveling at highway speeds.

It is difficult to feel completely safe while traveling on the road. Even if you are the safest driver on the road, you cannot prevent an injury caused by a reckless driver. Car accident victims frequently suffer from serious injuries in addition to significant damages. These losses could include accruing medical debt, expensive auto repairs, and lost income from being unable to go back to work. It might be hard to handle these unexpected damages on your own after a serious traffic accident, and you need to do everything in your power to maximize your recovery.

If you choose to pursue a compensation claim, you should not attempt to handle it on your own. Your lack of experience will be a severe disadvantage as you will be competing against a major insurance firm that handles these kinds of claims on a daily basis. You need to be sure that you have a knowledgeable personal injury lawyer on your side if you hope to heal fully from your injuries.
