Spring Valley, NV - One Killed, Another Hurt in Pileup Crash at Rainbow Blvd & Spring Valley Pkwy

Spring Valley, NV (December 5, 2023) - On Sunday, December 3, one person was killed and another was hurt following a pileup crash in the Spring Valley area. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway at around 7:15 p.m. Local reports indicated that a 2015 Chevrolet Impala was traveling on Rainbow toward the intersection. A 2014 Toyota Corolla, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, a 2014 Jeep Patriot, and a 2011 Toyota Sienna were all stopped at a light.

The driver of the Chevy failed to stop and rear-ended the 2014 Toyota, causing a chain-reaction collision. Two people were hospitalized for treatment, and one was later pronounced dead. No additional information has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more information will be released as it continues.
