Deadly Pedestrian Crashes in Nevada

Walking is a healthy and green way to get around, but unfortunately, those traveling on foot are more exposed to the dangers of the road. Nevada has a poor reputation when it comes to pedestrian safety. Statistics show that nearly 24 percent of deadly car accidents in the state involve a pedestrian. The majority of these deaths take place on urban roadways. On average, nearly 80 people are killed daily in pedestrian collisions. Distracted and impaired drivers are often involved in these unfortunate accidents.

If you lost someone close to you in a pedestrian or DUI collision, you are likely experiencing a whirlwind of emotions. You need to be of sound mind in order to make informed decisions about you and your family’s future. Many families do not consider taking legal action after a deadly crash, but this is often a mistake. The longer you wait to pursue a claim for compensation in the event of a fatal pedestrian accident, the more likely it is that key evidence may be lost forever. You need to start working with a trained attorney as soon as possible in order to ensure your claim is as strong as possible.
