Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

In the state of Nevada, distracted driving is one of the main factors contributing to catastrophic collisions. It is not uncommon for those hurt in collisions caused by distracted drivers to not know where to go. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released statistics in 2021 that indicated 3,522 persons were killed by distracted drivers in the United States. This represented an increase of about 12.1 percent from the year prior and nearly 12.9 percent from 2019. One of the most often mentioned causes of these serious crashes is cell phone use. The National Safety Council (NSC) found that the percentage of drivers using handheld devices while operating a vehicle rose by a startling 127 percent in just ten years, from 1.5 percent in 2012 to 3.4 percent in 2021. Reckless drivers who refuse to follow the rules of the road should be held responsible for any resulting injury and other damages, and this is often only possible by pursuing a strong personal injury claim. You need to take immediate action to make sure you are able to preserve key evidence and fight to achieve a full recovery.
