Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

Distracted driving is a major problem on Nevada's roads. It has quickly risen to the top of the list of major collision causes in the nation. In the United States, distracted drivers caused 424,000 injuries and 3,100 deaths in the past year. Additional statistics indicate that about 50 percent of these victims were not inside a car. Texting while driving is one of the most often listed activities among drivers between the ages of 15 and 20, who have a higher risk of being involved in distracted driving-related incidents. Distracted driving comes in many forms, with texting being just one. Other examples of this careless conduct include eating, using a phone, and even having a conversation with a passenger. In the event of a serious auto accident, drivers who do not pay attention to the road should be held accountable for their conduct. This can be achieved if you file a personal injury claim against the at-fault party and their insurance provider. Your claim can help you get compensation to cover your injuries and other resulting damages, including medical bills, lost income, and more. The rest of your life depends on your ability to pursue a successful claim, and you need to have a solid understanding of your legal rights.
