Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

In Nevada, distracted driving is a severe problem that is unfortunately commonplace on the state's roads. According to the most recent crash data, there were 63 dangerous distracted driving incidents and 62 fatalities in Nevada in a recent four-year period. Urban roads account for over 52 percent of the state's fatal distracted driving collisions, and men between the ages of 26 and 30 were the most common victims of distracted driving accidents, with the highest number of related crashes occurring in Clark County. You can travel the length of an entire football field in the time it takes to send a single text while traveling at highway speeds.

There is always a danger that a negligent driver could injure you when you are in a motor vehicle. Although the majority of us would rather think that we would never sustain injuries in an accident, the reality is that practically every Nevadan knows someone who has suffered harm in a crash. You must have a plan in place in case you or a loved one is hurt in a serious accident, and that usually means filing a personal injury claim in order to recover lost compensation.
