Deadly Trucking Accidents in Nevada

When you are traveling in a passenger car, it is common to be anxious when driving near a large commercial truck. That is because we all know how devastating these massive vehicles can be in the event of a collision. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), 266 people in Nevada lost their lives in trucking accidents over the past ten years. There are over 500,000 semi-truck collisions reported each year across the United States, resulting in thousands of fatalities and many more serious injuries. For obvious reasons, passenger cars are not built to withstand an impact with a large truck, and occupants are much more likely to suffer life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, the majority of trucking accidents involve smaller cars, and victims are much more likely to suffer serious injuries and substantial financial damages. It is important that you are able to make informed decisions to protect your legal rights after a serious trucking accident.
