Motorcycle Accidents in Nevada

Riding a motorcycle is downright dangerous. However, hitting the open road on the back of a bike is an experience like no other. Unfortunately, many riders suffer serious and life-threatening injuries in crashes every day. In a recent four-year period, there were 268 motorcycle accidents in Nevada resulting in 305 documented deaths. More than 70 percent of these crashes occurred on city streets. Clark County has historically had the highest number of fatal motorcycle accidents in the state. Riders are over 28 times more likely to die in a motorcycle crash than non-riders, with fatalities and serious injuries accounting for nearly 80 percent of motorcycle crashes nationwide. Motorcyclists are far more likely to sustain permanent injuries and substantial damage in an accident, so it is even more important that you are ready to fight for a full recovery. Despite what many people think, the majority of motorcycle crashes are caused by the reckless actions of other drivers. These reckless motorists should be held responsible for their actions in the event of a crash.
