Nevada Distracted Driving Accidents

Distracted driving is a common cause of serious auto accidents. Drivers will take their eyes off the road about ten percent of the time while they eat, text, or engage in some other type of driver distraction. Studies show that 20 percent of recorded crashes in the country are caused by distracted drivers, contributing to over 27 percent of auto accidents in 2015. An estimated nine people are killed daily by distracted drivers in the United States.

When using Nevada's roads, there is never a 100% guarantee that you will not be hurt in a car crash. It just takes the actions of one reckless person to cause a life-changing collision. It is important to take the necessary action to protect your legal rights during this difficult time. Your way of life is often on the line after a serious collision. In the event that your claim is denied, you can be left with excessive medical bills and other losses that you will never be able to cover on your own. You do not want to find yourself in this type of challenging situation, and an experienced attorney can support you during this difficult time.

You should not try to handle your claim by yourself. Even if you think you have a clear-cut case, it is far harder to prove a compensation claim than you may imagine. You must demonstrate that the crash and your injuries were caused by the other driver's carelessness, and this requires specific evidence. An experienced lawyer will know how to construct a strong claim in order to help you get the best outcome for your case.
