Reno, NV - Serious Injuries in Car Accident on Virginia St

Reno, NV (February 17, 2024) - On Friday night, February 16, at least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Reno area. The collision took place at the 2999 block of S. Virginia Street late that night at around 10:10 p.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined.

The crash victims were quickly treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. Those requiring further support were later hospitalized for further treatment. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided.

The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. The area was later reopened after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other resulting debris.
