Las Vegas, NV (January 10, 2024) - On Tuesday night, January 9, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision in the Las Vegas area. The fatal crash was reported at around 5:29 p.m. at the corner of E. Tropicana Avenue and Sandhill Road. Local reports revealed that a 2017 Toyota Corolla was headed westbound as the pedestrian was crossing the roadway.
The pedestrian was hit by the oncoming Toyota, and the at-fault driver proceeded to flee the scene. The injured party was transported to Sunrise Hospital by ambulance where they were later pronounced dead. The Corolla involved in the deadly crash was later located, and the driver was then found and placed under arrest. They are currently facing charges related to the fatal crash.
