Paradise, NV (January 28, 2024) - A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Paradise area on Saturday, January 27. The deadly accident occurred at the corner of E. Tropicana Avenue and S. Maryland Parkway at around 8:23 p.m. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a pedestrian accident.
Local reports revealed that a 41-year-old man was crossing the roadway when they were hit by an unregistered 2022 Cadillac XT5 traveling eastbound. The injured party suffered fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel.
Local reports indicated that the driver showed signs of intoxication. At this time, the identity of the deceased party has not been provided.
