Pedestrian Crashes in Nevada

Pedestrians are more exposed to the dangers of the road, and this means that those traveling on foot are more likely to suffer life-threatening injuries in a crash. There were 376 deadly pedestrian accidents reported across the state from 2014 to 2018, resulting in 287 fatalities in total. Nearly 90 percent of deadly pedestrian crashes in the state occurred in urban areas, with Clark County having the highest number of fatal incidents during the study.

Pedestrian accidents are some of the most severe types of collisions possible, and this is largely due to the fact that there is little shielding a pedestrian from the impact of a crash. There are times when a pedestrian can contribute to a crash, but in most cases, they are caused by the reckless actions of other drivers. You need to check with a trained lawyer in order to see if you have grounds to pursue a claim against the driver involved in the accident. There is a chance that you will be able to recover compensatory and even punitive damages in certain cases.

The dry and warm weather in Nevada encourages many people to travel on foot. This has contributed to a drastic increase in the number of pedestrian accidents in the state, and you need to be ready to work with a trained attorney if you or someone close to you has been hurt in a pedestrian accident. Our legal team is here to help you navigate the complicated claims process and pursue a strong claim in defense of your well-deserved compensation.
