Reno, NV (January 11, 2024) - At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of an auto accident in Reno on Wednesday, January 10. The collision took place at around 4:34 p.m. on Interstate 580 NB near 2nd Street. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties, and those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized for additional treatment.
The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No additional information on the crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
