Reno, NV (January 3, 2024) - At least one person was injured after a serious car accident in the Reno area on Tuesday, January 2. The accident took place that afternoon at around 3:13 p.m. at the corner of Keystone Avenue and Jones Street. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties.

Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to a local hospital for additional treatment. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The roadway was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
