Deadly Motorcycle Accidents in Nevada

When you ride a bike, you are putting your hands into the lives of other people on the road. Motorcyclists have almost nothing protecting them from the road, and for that reason, they are often over-represented in national vehicle fatalities. In Nevada, findings from a four-year study show that nearly 19 percent of deadly collisions involve motorcycles. During that time, a total of 306 people lost their lives in motorcycle collisions.

Dealing with a deadly crash is always difficult. No one ever plans to lose someone close to them too soon, and it can be even more devastating when it is discovered that they were killed due to someone else’s negligent actions. The grieving process is long and difficult, and families and those closest to the deceased are often left to pick up the pieces. Deadly collisions still result in damages, including medical bills, funeral costs, and burial expenses. You need to be sure that you are able to protect your rights after losing someone close to you.

Nevada state law allows for a representative of the deceased to pursue a wrongful death claim if it is discovered that negligence contributed to the fatal incident. You need to be sure you partner with a trained personal injury lawyer with experience handling these types of claims. This is often the only way to get the most out of your case.
