Nevada Distracted Driving Accidents

Nearly nine people in the United States lose their lives due to distracted driving every day, and human error is to blame for about 90 percent of documented auto accidents nationwide. Data show that distracted driving is quickly becoming one of the leading causes of car accidents, and this risky behavior is very common in Nevada. Over 3,000 fatal crashes involving distracted drivers occur each year, and in the time it takes to send a text, you can travel the length of a football field at highway speeds.

You can never feel totally safe when sharing the road with another driver. Even if you are the safest driver on the road, you cannot prevent a reckless driver from causing a serious auto accident. Car accident victims often suffer from serious injuries in addition to substantial property damage. These losses could include mounting medical debt, expensive auto repairs, and lost income from being unable to go back to work. It is often difficult to handle these damages while also processing your new-found injuries.

You should not try to handle your claim on your own if you later choose to pursue a personal injury claim.
