Las Vegas, NV - Fatal Hit-&-Run Crash at Centennial Pkwy & Bruce St

Las Vegas, NV (March 12, 2024) - A person was killed after a collision in North Las Vegas on Sunday, March 10. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Centennial Parkway and Bruce Street early that morning at around 1:30 a.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene.

When officials arrived, they found a vehicle engulfed in flames and another with significant damage. An occupant was trapped inside the flaming vehicle. They suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Local sources later revealed that a Dodge Challenger was traveling at a high rate of speed behind a Hyundai Sonata. The Dodge hit the Hyundai, causing it to catch fire. The Challenger fled the scene, and it is believed that speed and impairment were involved in the fatal accident. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
