Las Vegas, NV - Four Pedestrians Hit in DUI Crash on Lake Mead Blvd

Las Vegas, NV (March 19, 2024) - On Monday evening, March 18, four pedestrians were hurt after being struck by an alleged drunk driver in the North Las Vegas area. The accident occurred at the corner of Lake Mead Boulevard and Englestad Street late that night at around 9 p.m. A woman and two children were traveling in a silver Nissan Versa when it struck the four pedestrians.

A large gathering was forming outside a business at the 600 block of W. Lake Mead Blvd. The four victims were transported to University Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. The woman driving the Nissan showed signs of impairment. She is currently facing charges of driving under the influence and child endangerment. The area was temporarily closed as emergency crews provided aid to the involved parties. No further information is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
