Las Vegas, NV - Two Killed in Crash at Pyramid Dr & Vegas Dr

Las Vegas, NV (March 2, 2024) - On Friday, March 1, two people were killed following a car accident in the Las Vegas area. The deadly accident occurred at the corner of Pyramid Drive and Vegas Drive that evening at around 10:11 p.m. Local reports indicated that a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria was traveling eastbound with a dark-colored sedan at a high rate of speed.

A 2005 Nissan Frontier was in the process of making a left turn at the intersection when it entered the path of the oncoming Ford. The two vehicles made contact, and the impact caused the Ford to be redirected and hit a utility pole. Resulting debris hit two nearby cars.

The dark sedan failed to stop and continued traveling down the road. The 16-year-old driver and passenger in the Ford suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased victims at this time.
