Distracted Driving Crashes in Nevada

It is the responsibility of every motorist to avoid seriously hurting other people while driving. They also need to give the road their whole attention. Sadly, far too many drivers in Nevada operate their vehicles carelessly, and distracted driving is one of the leading causes of serious crashes in the United States. According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), distracted drivers killed 3,522 people nationwide in 2021. This is an increase of over 12.1 percent from 2020. One of the most common contributing causes of deadly collisions is cell phone use. According to data from the National Safety Council (NSC), in just ten years, there was a startling 128 percent rise in the number of crashes involving drivers using mobile devices.

After a serious collision, too much is at stake to leave your recovery up to chance. It can be difficult to know what to do to maximize your recovery as you deal with new-found injuries and costly damages. You run the risk of being saddled with mounting medical debt and other costs that you are unable to pay for if you cannot obtain the compensation you are entitled to in your claim.
