High-Speed Collisions in Nevada

Certain actions behind the wheel can greatly increase the risk of a life-changing collision. Everybody on the road is at risk when drivers choose to exceed the speed limit. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that between 2020 and 2021, the number of fatalities caused by speeding increased by an estimated 8 percent. In 2021, 12,330 individuals in the United States died in high-speed collisions, accounting for approximately 29 percent of all road fatalities in the country that year. Speeding makes it much more likely that you will lose control of your car, and it also has been found to greatly increase the impact in the event of a collision.
