Sparks, NV (November 15, 2023) - On Monday, November 13, at least one person was hurt following a traffic accident in the Sparks area. The collision was first reported at around 5:25 p.m. on Interstate 80 WB near Rock Boulevard. All lanes in both directions were shut down as a result of the crash. Emergency responders were present to render aid to the injured parties. Those requiring additional aid were later transferred to a local hospital for further treatment.
At this time, the circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency responders were present. No further updates on the accident have been provided at this time. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
