Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

According to statistics, operating a vehicle while inebriated can be just as deadly as driving while distracted. Unfortunately, both are common on Nevada roads. Across the country in a recent year, there were 3,100 fatalities and 424,000 injuries due to distracted driving. According to statistics, five out of these victims were not in a moving car at the time of the crash. You can travel the length of a football field at highway speeds in the time it takes to send a text—more than enough distance and time to result in a life-changing car accident.

Every day in Nevada, there are car accidents that leave victims with permanent injuries. On top of it all, you can be left with mounting damages that can make life very difficult. Your ability to make a full recovery depends on the actions you take immediately after the fact. You may be unsure of what needs to be done after an accident, but one thing you should consider is taking legal action by filing a personal injury claim. This is often the only way to achieve a full recovery after being seriously hurt in an auto accident. Damages, including medical expenses, car repairs, and other losses, can make life incredibly difficult, and your recovery is important.
