Las Vegas, NV - Cyclist Killed in Hit-&-Run at Lake Mead Blvd & Losee Rd

Las Vegas, NV (February 9, 2024) - A bicyclist died as a result of a hit-and-run accident in the Las Vegas area on Friday morning, February 9. The deadly crash took place at the corner of W. Lake Mead Boulevard and Losee Road at around 2:30 a.m. The victim was riding a bike when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle, local authorities believe.

A bus driver notified authorities of the incident when they found the victim lying on the roadway near a bicycle. It seems that the deceased party was hit by a motor vehicle, and the driver fled the scene without rendering aid. The injured rider suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. Local authorities are currently seeking information about the at-fault driver and suspect vehicle. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
