Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

Drivers have an obligation to pay attention to the road at all times in order to prevent serious crashes. Unfortunately, more and more drivers are engaging in reckless actions behind the wheel, and distracted driving is quickly becoming one of the leading causes of serious crashes nationwide. In a recent year, more than 3,100 people were killed and 424,000 were hurt due to distracted-driving accidents. Statistics further show that nearly one in five of these deaths were outside a car at the time of the accident. If you or someone close to you is hurt in a serious crash, you need to be ready to take immediate action in order to protect your legal rights.

Even the safest drivers can still be hurt due to the actions of a reckless motorist. You always need to seek medical treatment after a crash to make sure you are not seriously hurt. Adrenaline will course through your veins, giving the sensation that you were not damaged in the impact. However, you may later learn that your injuries were more severe than you thought.
