Las Vegas, NV - One Killed, Another Hurt in Crash at Russel Rd & Arville St

Las Vegas, NV (January 5, 2024) - On Thursday, January 4, one person was killed and another was injured following a car accident in the Las Vegas area. The deadly crash occurred at the corner of Russel Road and Arville Street late that night at around 9:38 p.m. Two people were traveling in a 2020 Ram 2500 pickup truck when it crashed into a pole.

The impact caused the truck to leave the roadway where it hit a wall. The vehicle then re-entered the road where it overturned, and one of the occupants was ejected. The 31-year-old female passenger was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The driver showed no signs of intoxication, but they were also hurt in the crash. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld. No further updates are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family in hopes of a full recovery.
