Reno, NV - Injury Car Accident at Stewart St & Wells Ave

Reno, NV (January 6, 2024) - On Friday, January 5, there were reported injuries following an auto accident in the Reno area. The crash occurred late that night at around 9:43 p.m. at the corner of Stewart Street and S. Wells Avenue. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined.

The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel, and those requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further aid. No further information is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
