Dayton, NV - Three Injured in DUI Crash After Driver Runs Stop Sign

Dayton, NV (March 24, 2024) - Three people were hurt following a crash involving an alleged drunk driver in the Dayton area. The accident took place on Saturday night, March 23, at around 6:10 p.m. Local reports revealed that the driver of a Toyota Camry failed to yield while making a turn at an intersection when they collided with a Nissan utility vehicle.

The driver and passenger in the Nissan as well as the driver of the Toyota were Care Flighted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for the treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene before being hospitalized and showed signs of intoxication. No further updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
