Distracted Driving Accidents in Nevada

It is important that drivers pay attention to the road. Sadly, too many drivers fail to do so. Statistics show that distracted motorists have their eyes off the road nearly 10 percent of the time. This is more than enough time to cause a catastrophic event. In the time it takes to send one text, you could travel the length of a football field, and you need to be sure you are prepared to defend your legal rights if you or someone close to you is hurt in an unexpected crash. Over 424,000 people were hurt and 3,100 people lost their lives in collisions involving distracted drivers in the United States last year. According to statistics, people between the ages of 15 and 20 were the most common victims of these accidents. In the event of a serious collision, victims should be able to pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault party.

Following a catastrophic collision, you must take all reasonable steps to safeguard your legal rights. Try as you might, pursuing a claim for compensation on your own can become extremely overwhelming. Make sure you are prepared to do what has to be done in order to maximize your recovery and speed up your claim. You need to have a knowledgeable attorney at your side to help you navigate the legal system and ensure that your case is handled correctly at every turn.

It can be hard to navigate a claim on your own. It is always in your best interest to work with a trained legal team to maximize your recovery.
