Deadly Semi-Truck Accidents in Nevada

A huge 18-wheeler can inflict severe casualties in an accident. Nevada is a vital state for the nation's transportation network, and its roads and highways are often filled with large trucks. The latest data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) shows that 385 people died as a result of 360 trucking accidents that were reported throughout the state in a recent year. Fatigue, intoxication, and speed are frequently cited as causes of semi-truck collisions in the state. If you recently lost someone close to you in a deadly trucking accident, you should partner with a trained attorney in order to pursue a wrongful death claim.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is never easy. It can be considerably harder to deal with the loss if you later find out that the negligent driver's actions were the cause. You can feel as though your life will never be the same after a deadly crash, and it is hard to focus on things like a complicated legal claim. You must be fully informed about your legal rights after a catastrophic collision. Under Nevada state law, the surviving family members of the deceased can obtain financial compensation on the deceased's behalf if it is found that negligence had a role in the fatal accident. Working with a trained attorney is a significant asset during your case, and it can help increase your likelihood of reaching a successful outcome for your claim.
