Nevada Car Crashes

With a population of 2.3 million, Nevada is home to several thriving cities with miles of long highways and expansive city streets. The state has a bad reputation for road safety, despite being well-known for the glamour of Las Vegas. In the last year, there was a nearly 3.3 percent increase in auto accidents across the state. Statistics show that 2021 was the fifth deadliest year for car crashes in the previous 30 years in the state. Only three fewer fatalities took place on the state's roads in 2022. Driving under the influence and speeding are the main causes of serious auto accidents in Nevada.
