Las Vegas, NV - Two Killed in Collision at Bonanza Rd & Lamb Blvd

Las Vegas, NV (February 12, 2024) - On Saturday morning, February 10, two people were killed following a collision in the Las Vegas area. The deadly accident took place at the corner of N. Lamb Boulevard and E. Bonanza Road early that morning at around 4:12 a.m. Local reports indicated that a pickup truck and a sport-utility vehicle collided at the scene.

It was reported that a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was traveling at a high rate of speed headed northbound when it crashed into a 2004 Toyota Scion XB. The driver of the SUV reportedly had a green light when they entered the intersection. The 60-year-old driver of the Toyota suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 17-year-old driver of the pickup was transported to the University Medical Center Trauma Center in critical condition where they later succumbed to their injuries. Impairment is believed to have played a role in the fatal crash. An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
