Fatal DUI Collisions in Nevada
One of the riskiest things to do is drive after drinking alcohol, and careless drivers who operate a vehicle pose a direct hazard to everyone. In the past 10 years, Nevada has recorded 20,130 alcohol-related crashes, and data indicates that 7,200 people were hurt and 156 people died as a result of these collisions. Nearly 30 percent of the 90 road fatalities that were reported in Nevada last year were caused by intoxicated drivers. Despite the known dangers, far too many drivers in Nevada nevertheless operate a vehicle while intoxicated. Drunk drivers should face consequences if they are involved in a deadly crash. This is often only achievable with the assistance of an experienced attorney while pursuing a wrongful death lawsuit.
In a matter of seconds, a deadly vehicle accident can completely change your way of life. Because the loss of a loved one is irreversible, you must have faith in your capacity to defend your family's legal rights in these trying times. Handling a deadly crash becomes considerably more difficult if you later find out that someone else's careless behavior caused the tragedy. Surviving family members may file a wrongful death lawsuit in Nevada to recover damages. On the other hand, managing these instances alone might be quite difficult. You can greatly benefit from a proficient attorney's help to uphold and protect your rights with the aim of collecting compensation for burial costs, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
