Nevada Distracted Driving Crashes

Drivers have a responsibility to keep their focus on the road. Even though it seems obvious, a lot of drivers don't follow this basic rule. Distracted driving is becoming a major problem across the nation and is one of the main reasons for serious auto accidents. Data from the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) shows that driver distraction accounts for over 3.1 percent of fatal car incidents in Las Vegas. A total of 3,142 persons nationwide lost their lives as a result of distracted driving in 2020 alone. In the event that a distracted driver causes a collision that alters someone's life, they should be held accountable for any injuries and additional damages.
