Nevada High-Speed Collisions
Driving too fast can be the difference between a minor collision and one that changes your life. In Nevada, high-speed collisions are not uncommon, with speeding being recognized as the second leading cause of major collisions in the state. In addition to significantly raising the likelihood of an automobile collision, speeding also makes it more difficult for drivers to maintain control of their vehicles and respond quickly to unforeseen road hazards. In 2022, there were 396 fatalities in Nevada caused by speeding drivers, an increase of approximately 2.86 percent from the year before. Nearly one-third of all traffic fatalities over the past 20 years have been linked to speeding, and careless drivers who disobey the law should be held accountable in the event of a major auto accident.
There's just so much that can be done to keep a major collision from happening. Every day, drivers in Nevada act recklessly when operating a vehicle. In a matter of seconds, an automobile accident can seriously harm you or a loved one. Your entire way of life could take a major turn for the worse, so you need to be sure you have the knowledge necessary to preserve your future by making educated choices now.
