Nevada Speeding-related Crashes
Catastrophic car accidents can happen due to a variety of factors. One of the most often reported behaviors on Nevadan roads is speeding. According to statistics, in 2021, speed contributed to about 29 percent of all fatal car accidents in the country. Every year, speeding drivers kill tens of thousands of people. That means that there are an estimated 33 deaths daily connected to speeding. Driving at a high speed impairs your control over the car, extends the stopping distance, and slows down your reaction time. This is a lethal combination that can both significantly raise the likelihood of an automobile accident and intensify the severity of any resulting injuries. In the event of an automobile accident, drivers who knowingly drive over the speed limit or too fast for the circumstances of the road should be held accountable.
