Deadly Pedestrian Accidents in Nevada
It makes sense to believe that an accident will leave you with serious injuries. Sadly, there is a much higher chance of serious injury for pedestrians. The number of pedestrian deaths is increasing across the country. In 2021 alone, more than 8,000 people in the United States died while traveling on or near the road. This suggests that there is one pedestrian death for every 66 minutes on average. Approximately one in every six vehicle deaths across that year included pedestrians. It's never easy to handle the aftermath of a deadly collision. You can seek justice by pursuing a successful wrongful death lawsuit with the assistance of an experienced attorney.
Pedestrians have limited protection in the event of an accident. This means that pedestrians are more likely to sustain severe or even fatal injuries. The resulting damages and losses can mount up quickly, placing families in a difficult financial spot. If a pedestrian collision results in death, you may be eligible to sue for wrongful death in order to recover burial and funeral expenses. Wrongful death lawsuits are among the most challenging cases our personal injury attorneys handle. It may be more difficult for families that attempt to manage these instances on their own to recover fully if they run into unanticipated problems and difficulties that they are unprepared for. To make the most of your case, you thus need to have a reliable legal team on your side.
