Head-on Collisions in Nevada
In contrast to other kinds of traffic accidents, head-on collisions happen when two automobiles crash while they are heading directly at each other. These collisions include strong impacts that might cause lifelong or even fatal injuries. Even while head-on accidents account for fewer than 2 percent of all reported accidents in the country, they still result in over 10 percent of all collision deaths each year in the United States. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has discovered that compared to other kinds of vehicle accidents, the death rate in these crashes is about 56 percent.
