DUI Crashes in Nevada
Driving when intoxicated is one of the most dangerous things you can do behind the wheel. Drunk drivers are ill-equipped to operate their cars when they get behind the wheel, and this is a common problem for drivers in Nevada. Statistics show that the state has one of the highest national rates of alcohol-related fatalities. In all, 92 people died in the state in a recent year as a result of drunk drivers, making up for nearly 30 percent of fatal crashes. This is nearly two percentage points higher than the national average of 28 percent. If you or someone close to you is unfairly injured by a drunk driver, you need to be ready to fight for your full recovery by working closely with a competent legal team.
It can be hard to share the road safely with a negligent driver. After drinking too much, a lot of drivers will go behind the wheel, and some may drive recklessly and endanger other road users by speeding and operating a car negligently. You can be hurt by a reckless driver at almost any time, and many innocent victims are hurt on Nevada roads almost every day. In Nevada and around the country, automobile accidents remain the primary cause of fatalities and severe injuries, and it is important that you can fight to defend your legal rights after a serious auto accident.
