Pedestrian Crashes in Nevada
Statistics show that the number of pedestrian deaths on Las Vegas roads has doubled in the span of a year. Unfortunately, in the event of a crash, a pedestrian will lose every time. There were 26 fatalities reported in the city this year, and 15 of these deaths were pedestrians. Nevada is one of the deadliest states for pedestrians and consistently ranks in the top ten for the highest rate of pedestrian fatalities. A recent nine-year study found that there were more than 650 pedestrian deaths that occurred in the state. The number of pedestrians dying across the country is on the rise, and it is important that you are able to protect your legal rights if you or someone close to you is hurt while traveling on foot.
Pedestrians are greatly exposed to the dangers of the road. There is little to protect someone on foot from the full impact of a crash, and this means that pedestrians are more likely to suffer life-threatening injuries in the event of a traffic accident. The resulting damages are often much more severe than typical collisions, and that means that there is much more on the line. That is why it is even more important that you are able to partner with a trained lawyer who has a proven track record helping injured parties pursue full recoveries after a serious pedestrian accident. You can rest assured that your case is in good hands when you work with a trained legal team during your case.
