Pedestrian Crashes in Nevada
Traveling on foot is a great way to get around, but it leaves you exposed to the dangers of the road. Statistics show that the number of deadly pedestrian accidents in Nevada and across the United States is on the rise. There were 376 deadly pedestrian crashes reported across the Silver State last year, resulting in 387 deaths in total. The overwhelming majority of these crashes took place in urban areas, with nearly 90 percent of pedestrian deaths occurring on city streets. The majority of these deadly accidents occur in Clark County. If you or someone close to you is injured as a pedestrian, you need to partner with a trained attorney who is ready to protect your legal rights.
It is common for pedestrian accidents to result in serious and even life-threatening injuries. There is little to protect someone on foot from the full impact of a crash, and the resulting injuries and damages are often life-changing. That means victims can become quickly overwhelmed due to rising medical bills, lost income, and other financial damages that they are not prepared to handle. There is so much on the line after a pedestrian crash, and you need to be sure that you can pursue the strongest claim possible to maximize your recovery. That often means partnering with a trained car crash lawyer in Nevada with a proven track record of success.
