Hit-&-Run Crashes in Nevada
When a driver leaves the scene of a crash, it is against the law. You are required to stop and render aid following a collision. The number of hit-and-run crashes is on the rise across the country. In the past ten years, an estimated 682,000 hit-and-runs have happened across the United States each year, and there were 737,100 of these accidents reported in 2015 alone. These accidents overwhelmingly impact pedestrians and cyclists who are often unable to get the much-needed aid they require after a collision.
It is hard enough to deal with the aftermath of a crash on your own. When you have to figure out who is responsible for the crash, it can be even more frustrating. Despite the fact it is against the law to leave the scene of a crash, many drivers in Nevada continue to do so at an alarming rate. Even if the at-fault party flees the scene, you may be able to pursue compensation after being hurt in a hit-and-run. Even if it seems impossible that you will be able to recover after a hit-and-run crash, there is still hope that you will be able to find the at-fault party and be able to achieve a financial recovery. A trained legal team will be able to help you during the process to make sure that no stone is left unturned in your pursuit for full compensation.
