Carlin, NV - Two Killed in Rollover on NV-278

Carlin, NV (July 4, 2024) – Two people were killed, and two others were injured after a rollover crash in the Carlin area on Wednesday, July 3. The incident took place early that morning, around 7:05 a.m., on NV-278. Local reports revealed that a black Ford Expedition was traveling northbound when it veered off the right side of the roadway.

The vehicle entered the embankment, where it was overturned. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. The driver and front-seat passenger suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Two other passengers suffered serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
