Deadly Motorcycle Crashes in Nevada
There is nothing like riding on the back of a motorcycle. But as all motorcyclists are aware, it is by no means safe. A recent four-year study conducted in Nevada found that motorbikes were involved in nearly 306 road deaths, making up about 19 percent of the state's fatal collisions. Deaths from motorcycle accidents happen often. According to statistics, motorcycle riders have a nearly 26-fold increased risk of dying in a crash, and almost 80 percent of crashes end in fatalities or serious injuries. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 5,014 motorcycle fatalities and 8,4,000 motorcycle injuries occurred in a recent year. After a fatal collision, you should be prepared to file a lawsuit by working with an experienced lawyer.
If the negligence of another driver results in a loved one's death in Nevada, family members can take action to seek lost compensation.
